Marley Bassett is a senior at the University of South Carolina where she majors in mass communication with a minor in political science. Marley is an award-winning journalist having received awards at the school and state level for her news reporting, editorial writing, and newspaper design. Previously, Marley was the centennial editor-in-chief of The Johnsonian at Winthrop University and the summer marketing intern at Charleston County Parks and Recreation. In addition to being an intern at Watershed, she is also one of the news editors at The Daily Gamecock and a freelance reporter for The Lexington County Chronicle and The Arena.
