Liz Norris is an experienced governmental affairs consultant and grants manager with a specialization in addressing public health needs of vulnerable populations. She has spent decades working as a leader of program implementation from projects within SC Mental Health, SC DHEC, the Office of the Governor, The University of SC School of Public Health, to serving as Director of Operations for The Mental Illness Recovery Center, Inc, (MIRCI) a non-profit organization in SC. Most recently, Liz served 5 years as SC President for AARP advocating for older adults and their families.  Liz graduated from WInthrop College with a BA in Psychology, and earned a M.Ed in Guidance and Counseling and pursued post-graduate work in Broadcast Journalism from the University of South Carolina.
